Our take
Why We Trust This Brand
Common Good has been pioneering the refill movement since 2011, long before it became fashionable. Their formulas are among the most minimal in the industry: five ingredients in the dish soap. The company has remained small and founder-owned by choice, prioritizing product integrity over growth.
What's inside
Ingredients & Safety
Ultra-minimal formulas using plant-derived surfactants from coconut oil, essential oils for scent, and almost nothing else. The dish soap has five ingredients. The laundry detergent has six. No synthetic fragrances, dyes, preservatives, or thickeners. Scored 9 because essential oils are used for fragrance, which can be sensitizing for some people.
