Trusted Labels publishes product-label and ownership research at trustedlabels.co. This page explains what the website collects, the services it uses and your analytics choices.

If you email [email protected], we receive the information you include and use it to respond. An email link opens your email app; clicking it does not send a message. The website currently has no newsletter signup or contact form.

The homepage lookup and directory help you find brand records. They are search tools, not contact forms. Directory searches and filters can be included in analytics. Please use brand names rather than entering personal information.

Analytics and Browser Storage

We use Google Analytics 4 and first-party page-flow reporting provided by Bold Coast Analytics to understand which pages and tools people use. Reports can include pageviews, searches, filters, navigation and affiliate-link interactions, device information and approximate location. A product-link click or visible product button does not tell us whether a purchase occurred.

Google Analytics uses cookies and its own identifiers. Our first-party page-flow reporting uses a random per-tab identifier and page sequence in sessionStorage, rather than cookies. It records page paths, referring pages, campaign tags, device category and approximate city, region and country. It also records clicks on links, buttons and forms: which action happened, on which page, and the link's destination, with no names, email addresses or other personal details. For new records, the collector removes credentials, query strings and fragments from referring URLs. These usage records are not described as anonymous.

We use localStorage to remember an analytics opt-out. We do not send email messages to analytics, and affiliate performance does not determine editorial scores or rankings.

Your Analytics Choice

Turn off this site's Google Analytics and first-party page-flow reporting in this browser, or turn analytics back on. If your browser blocks localStorage, the choice applies to the page you open but may not persist on later pages. Clearing site storage clears the saved choice. This control does not delete earlier records or control services on other websites.

You can also manage cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Browser and extension behavior varies.

Amazon Associates is our affiliate program. When you follow an Amazon link, Amazon may use cookies or other identifiers under its own privacy policy. Other manufacturer and research links are separate websites with their own privacy practices.

Some product photos load from Amazon's image servers through our catalog integration. Those image and catalog requests share browser and network information with the servers involved, even if site analytics is turned off. Loading a product photo is not a click through to a seller or a purchase.

Other Services

  • Google: Google Analytics processes usage data, and Google Fonts supplies the site's fonts. Font requests can still occur when analytics is off. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Bold Coast Analytics: Our first-party reporting endpoint records the page-flow fields described above.
  • Cloudflare: Cloudflare hosts the website and may process request information, including IP addresses, for delivery, security and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Questions About Your Information

To ask about information you have shared, or request access or deletion, email [email protected]. The site is intended for adults researching products, not children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has shared personal information.

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes.
