Who owns it
Ownership & Independence
Weleda AG dates to 1921 and is controlled by the General Anthroposophical Society in Dornach together with Klinik Arlesheim, which hold the majority of voting rights. Only non-voting participation certificates are publicly listed, and membership rules block outside takeover. There is no commercial parent company and no private-equity or venture ownership.
