Ownership & Independence
Larry Plesent founded Vermont Soap in 1992 and ran it for decades before stepping down as CEO. The company stayed independent and privately held through that handoff, with company veteran Nichole Faulkner taking over as CEO. We found no record of any acquisition or outside majority owner.
