Osmia was founded in 2012 by Dr. Sarah Villafranco, a former emergency-medicine physician, and is based in Carbondale, Colorado. Company profiles show no acquisitions, no parent company, and no equity funding raised. Villafranco remains founder and CEO. The recent name change from Osmia Organics to Osmia Skincare was a name change only, not a sale.
