Our take
Why We Trust This Brand
This is a genuine family shop that never sold out to a bigger company, and the clean claims are backed by USDA Organic and Leaping Bunny certification rather than just nice words on the label. The bars are simple, handmade, and honest about what is in them.

Who owns it
Ownership & Independence
Ida started making soap as a hobby around 2001 and incorporated the business soon after, naming it for the Chagrin Valley area of Ohio. The company remains family-owned and family-run from Solon, Ohio, with Ida's children part of the business. We found no parent company, acquisition, or outside majority owner.
